Maybe the most atmopheric photo print I have taken of a red deer stag in Richmond Park. The whole dark and mysterious atmopheres of the park in autumn can be seen here. The large stag rests after doing battle with his competitors in the annual rut. He is silhouetted but importantly the light catches and bounces off his majestic antlers and side of his face. The ligh rays point diagonally down and some highlights of the last leaves on the trees pick the scene up.
